This painting was inspired by seeing fall colors in Paris, France. The source photos were taken in Luxembourg Gardens in 1997. I used genuine Silver Leaf on this painting.

This painting was inspired by a photograph I took of a Hachiya Persimmon tree in Sonoma County, CA on Thanksgiving day in 2008. I used 22 karat Gold Leaf on this painting. I’ve done other versions with this image using Silver and White Gold Leaf.
